Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 14th in 1970) is an American actor and writer. She has been a twice Golden Globe Award recipient. Her roles in CBS"One Day at a Time's Barbara, and Hot in Cleveland's Melanie Moretti made her a famous household name. From her teens she has grown into a strong character actor.
